There are privacy concerns when joining a social networking site. If you don't want the wrong people to have access to your information, it is best not to post it.
MLA could benefit greatly by using social networking to communicate with its members. This would be a good tool to send information to members only without the public having access to it.
Since I am not a computer guru, it was very hard for me to use Facebook and be able to follow the exercises for week 3.

As I understand it, a Wiki can be for group projects and everyone can have a say on what is included in it. A Blog is used more for comments and one can control the information that is entered.

How do you think you could use RSS feeds at your library? I could communicate with my colleagues and tell them what new things I am doing in my Division, Technical Services.
